ZSNY is a local chapter of the parent organization Zombie Squad.
Zombie Squad's mission is to educate the public about the importance of personal preparedness and self reliance, to increase its readiness to respond to a number of disasters such as Earthquakes, Floods or Zombie Outbreaks.
ZSNY fulfills the goals of the parent organization through a combination of activities:
Charity efforts in and around New York State, like this donation we made to the American Red Cross of Northeastern New York.
Camping trips with seminars and gear-testing under extreme conditions, like in this year's Winter Camping Trip.
Group recreational activities that are fun and educational and healthy, like last summer's PaddleFest .
Watching zombie movies in spooky locations, like this screening of "28 Weeks Later" during a camping trip to a ghost town last year.
